What’s been happening:

My Penn State experience continues to grow. Upon graduation I started teaching for the Bellefonte Area School District and continued there for 33 years. During that time I had many enriching opportunities and I led our Middle School to many state energy education awards and one national award. I was selected to be a NASA Newest teacher and worked with NASA scientists at Langley Air Force Base for 2 weeks during one summer. Going to Space Camp and receiving an Outstanding Educator Award from my school district are priceless memories. When I retired from Bellefonte, I was selected by Penn State to be a supervisor for elementary teachers for five years in Mifflin County. Through that amazing career, I have now become a member of the Board of Directors for the College of Education and there I continue to work to motivate student teachers to become the best teachers they can! I married my PSU love, Lee Stout, and we have 2 wonderful kids and 3 fabulous grandkids! Our life is good and we thank Penn State for being a huge part of it!
